Despite growing up in central Germany, my family's roots in the north enabled me to spend a lot of my holidays at the German coast. The Wadden Sea is a unique environment that helped me appreciate how much the ocean is giving us but also how important it is to protect eco systems like these. Regardless of where I ended up afterwards, proximity to water and the sea have been the common denominator. This continues to be the case with my move to the Netherlands where I was given the opportunity to work with colleagues that share the same values and principles, at a shipyard directly located at the sea.

I am therefore really happy to support the cause of the Blue Marine Foundation and ride together with the Amels & Damen Yachting Team to raise awareness and donations to help preserve and restore our oceans.

Every donation counts and will not only help the cause but also motivate me to make it all the way to Monaco. Thank you!
