I always wanted to do something to help protect our environment. Humans are one of the main cause of oceans contamination, however we are also the only ones who can act to save it.
I was born and raised near Venice, a city that’s completely immersed in water, and I know how both strong and fragile this environment is. Sustainability and ocean protection are both important themes and we need to act immediately to turn the tide.

I decided to join the Amels and Damen Yachting team in this adventure which is taking place in September. Our goal is to raise money for the Blue Marine Foundation - a charity fighting to protect our oceans. We’ll cycle our way through Europe, starting on the flat lands of Holland, all the way to climbing the Alps and finally ending in Monaco. I’ll sweat surrounded by the elements, taking my time to reflect on how we can make a change, hoping the next generations will act in the same or different way to protect our environment because everything is connected, and the ocean is an essential part of life.
