“I was inspired to support Blue Marine Foundation after hearing Charles Clover’s moving speech at The Saatchi Gallery where they were the affiliated charity for an exhibition. I felt a real desire to help them in any way I could so SJ asked if I could photograph the London to Monaco ride in 2017. I have shot four since then and enjoyed every event. They are very challenging both physically and mentally, a true reflection of what the Blue Marine are doing for our oceans, and I feel that I have come to the end of a very fulfilling road.
