2023

100 cyclists took part in L2M2023 on 19 September 2023 for its sixth edition. Lady Amelia Windsor cut the ribbon to give the riders a royal send-off on day one from Somerset House in London to the port of Harwich, sponsored by Winch Design. 50 riders continued on to cycle over 1100Km through seven different countries over the eight days. The route took us through Holland, down the beautiful Rhein in Germany, briefly into France, before entering the dramatic Swiss alps and descending into the stunning Italian lakes. Lastly we cycled along the gorgeous south coast, ending with a Monaco style champagne spray finish by Adnams at the Palace of Monaco greeted by Prince Albert II of Monaco on 26 September. There were some epic climbs and breath-taking moments, memories made that will last a lifetime, including the fantastic lunch stops and Climpson & Sons’ coffee stops along the way. Thanks to our riders, partners and sponsors we have raised over £150,000 which will go directly into Blue Marine’s projects all around the world where funding is most needed.

We had corporate teams from Winch, Damen Yachting, Lurssen, Rolls-Royce mtu solutions, and a fantastic Blue Marine team including: SJ Skinner, Eric Harris-Scott, Hamish Mackay, Appin Williamson, Olivia Eadie, Sofia Regalado, Dave Hutton, Freddie Watson and James Morris.
